YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Answers to the questions most often asked before treatment abroad.
Discuss my questionCall IMROMED and tell us what you need help with. During a free organisational consultation, we explain the enquiry process, review the available documents and discuss the next steps. There is no need to buy flights in advance.
IMROMED explains the enquiry and travel arrangements free of charge: documents, the clinic request, a preliminary estimate, invitation, visa and support. Doctor consultations, tests, treatment, flights, accommodation and paid support services have separate terms and costs.
We help prepare a request to Artemis and check whether a document review or remote consultation is possible. The clinic determines the format, price and response time. An in-person examination may be needed for a final decision.
There is no single price: it depends on the diagnosis, tests, treatment method and hospital stay. We request a preliminary clinic estimate and clarify which services are included and which cost extra. The plan and price may change after an in-person assessment. Travel, accommodation and support costs are agreed separately.
We help request an individual medical invitation and prepare documents for the patient and accompanying person. Current requirements are checked before travel. The clinic issues the invitation, while the relevant authority decides on the visa; visa approval is not guaranteed.
Before departure, we agree on airport pickup, transfers, accommodation and a Russian-speaking assistant. Their contact details, schedule and scope of support are confirmed in advance. The Artemis website lists international patient services; Russian-language availability is arranged separately.
Yes, you can plan the trip with an accompanying person. We help arrange their invitation, documents, flights and accommodation. Hospital rules for relatives depend on the department and treatment arrangements; the accompanying person’s expenses are calculated separately.
Timing depends on examinations, treatment and recovery. We request an approximate duration from the clinic before travel, but it may change. Your flight home must be agreed with your treating doctor. We do not promise a fixed response or admission time.
First, call the coordinator. We agree on a private channel and the list of documents. This website does not collect medical files. Do not post them in public groups or comments; sharing with the clinic is agreed with the patient.
No. IMROMED helps organise the enquiry and trip. An Artemis doctor discusses the diagnosis, indications, treatment methods, risks and prognosis with you. Results depend on the clinical situation. In an emergency, seek medical help where you are.
We help obtain discharge documents and hospital recommendations, clarify follow-up arrangements and maintain contact with the clinic. Discuss monitoring and following the recommendations with your treating doctor; IMROMED does not replace medical care.
